What we cover under maintenance

One team for annual services, breakdown call-outs, regas and F-Gas compliance — for both homes and commercial sites.

Annual service

Filter clean, coil inspection, drain flush, refrigerant pressure check and full performance test. Keeps manufacturer warranty valid.

PPM contracts

6-monthly or annual scheduled visits with fixed SLA response, priority call-out and discounted parts. Compliance records included.

Fault-finding & repair

Diagnostic call-out for units not cooling, leaking, tripping or throwing error codes. Most faults quoted on the first visit.

F-Gas leak trace & regas

Nitrogen pressure test, leak repair, system evacuation and recharge to manufacturer weight — the only legal way to restore lost refrigerant.

FAQs

Servicing & Repair FAQs

Service intervals, breakdown response times, F-Gas compliance and what a full service covers.

How often should air conditioning be serviced?+

Residential systems: once a year to keep the manufacturer warranty valid. Commercial systems: every 6 months as standard, or 3-monthly for kitchens, server rooms and 24/7 environments where filters clog faster.

What does an AC service actually cover?+

A full service includes filter clean or replacement, evaporator and condenser coil inspection, condensate drain flush, refrigerant pressure and superheat check, electrical connection torque check, fan bearing inspection and a performance test on cooling and heating modes.

My AC isn't cooling — what's likely wrong?+

The four most common causes are: blocked filters restricting airflow (fixed on the visit), low refrigerant from a slow leak (regas + leak trace), a faulty capacitor or fan motor (parts on the van), or a blocked condensate drain triggering a safety shutdown. Our engineers carry diagnostic kit and usually quote on the first visit.

What does F-Gas compliance mean for my business?+

UK law requires refrigerant leak checks at set intervals based on the system's CO₂-equivalent charge — every 12, 6 or 3 months. We hold F-Gas Company Certification, all engineers are F-Gas Category 1, and we issue the statutory records for your compliance file after every visit.

Do you service all makes, or only ones you installed?+

All makes — Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, LG, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Panasonic, Haier, Hitachi and older R410A units. You don't need to have used us for the original install.

Do you offer planned maintenance contracts?+

Yes — annual or 6-monthly PPM contracts with fixed response SLAs, priority call-out over ad-hoc customers, discounted parts, and a documented maintenance log. Popular with landlords, care groups, MATs, dental practices and multi-site retailers.

What's your call-out response time for breakdowns?+

Contract customers get priority same-day or next-morning attendance. Ad-hoc call-outs are typically attended within 24–48 hours, faster in peak summer if we have a van in your area.

Can you regas a system that's lost refrigerant?+

Yes, but only after a leak trace — regassing without finding the leak is illegal under F-Gas and the gas will be gone within weeks. We nitrogen-pressure-test, locate the leak, repair the joint or component, evacuate the system and recharge to the manufacturer's specified weight.

Do you cover residential and commercial?+

Both. Same F-Gas certified engineers, same diagnostic kit, same-day response where possible — from a single home wall-split through to multi-tenant VRF plant.
